Author Topic: More brick trees  (Read 3951 times)

Since I really hate the default trees and I want to have vast forests while saving brick count.
I really want more brick trees.
Something along the line of this:
Pretty awesome so far. Makes me want to clean up these pine trees for a release.

I setup the generator to use custom biomes, but they didn't seem to generate. Will have to try again later tonight.

palm trees would be nice

GSF Ghost is making some realistic trees, but I want blocky tress :P

He already has Palm trees and more blocky nature items in his Mod Ter Decor pack

go to a server with cool tree bricks (elm's land of blocks has some :3)
wait until you spawn
close blockland
get a sqlite database browser or other methods
open cache.db in blockland folder
search for those treebricks.blb/dts
post files
someone might make add-ons for them
???
profit

That's possible?

That's possible?
cache.db works like the old add-ons folder method but with a sqlite database
It puts the models and textures into a database so you don't have to re download each time and it doesn't clog up your add-ons folder.
The scripts are run by the server so it doesn't download those.

Didn't know you could open them though ;D

That's possible?
Yeah it is, but I don't want to model steal D:

I'll release those trees eventually.

What you see on the left is a list of files that are in YOUR blockland folder, and there is no way to export them
So
Your point is?
