Just as I suspected; yet another game I own that I can't play because it runs so slowly on my awful computer. Looks like when I finally upgrade I'll have enough "new" games to keep me busy for weeks.

I have a friend who can't play it because he uses XP.

This is no Michael Bay movie, son.
Its Micheal Bay : The Video Game Movie pretty much, also its nothing like Saints Row besides the free roam aspect. You can go anywhere you want.
Also of course its unrealistic.

What're your specs? I could run it on lowest settings everything on my HD 4200

Yeah, so can I. The only places I get FPS drops are in strongholds and biofuel shafts

Anyone else not able to get to the Steam page for Just Cause 2?

Do you have the age thing on?

I don't know what happened. I tried a few more times and at one point it just opened. I have it now. c:

It's a laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400.

The audio was so horribly de-synced in the initial cutscene that I just got angry and quit. Mouths kept moving up to 30 seconds after the dialog stopped and everything was lagging so much that the explosion sounds (as well as the action that followed) happened and concluded while the characters were still comfortably talking in the helicopter. After that there was no sound except talking so I alt-tabbed out and shut it down.

That's what mine would do. All the cutscenes lagged horribly, the "tutorial" level lagged horribly, but once you get into the game it's fine.

Mine was always silky smooth at over 60FPS. B)

Bought it, Just beCause too.

should i buy this or wait for GTAIV to go on sale?
