Author Topic: I can't host.  (Read 7362 times)

Server name is Maxx's Testing

*sigh* Did you attempt to connect?
I was on my iPhone. Silly.

I didn't read this whole thing but here's what you can do:

1. Port forwared

2. Change your ports in your settings to the ones you opened up

3. Allow Blockland through your firewall

4. Turn your firewall of temporarily to see if it fixes the ping

I never port forwarded before, and don't need to, hosting a server was working fine two weeks ago.

Then uPnP should probably be on. It's odd that it suddenly stopped working.

I host once a week, and I've never port-forwarded.

If you want to use UPnP rather than port forwarding:
 - Make sure UPnP is enabled in Blockland
 - Make sure UPnP is enabled on your router
 - Make sure your computer's firewall is not blocking Blockland or UPnP
 - If it still does not work, restart your router by unplugging it, waiting 5 seconds, and plugging it back in.

How do I enable it on my router/modem combo without going through passwords?

Posting in the wrong forum because there are "slow responses" in the right one is not acceptable. Don't do it.

Anyone know the answer to this:

To change any settings on your router, you will need to know the password for it.

But for now, just skip that step and attempt to host a server with UPnP. Then post a console log of that.

I don't know the password.
It's my father's router/modem combo thing.

Here you go: console.log below
