Author Topic: What was the first computer you've ever had  (Read 2374 times)

It was some kind of HP Pavilion tower that I disassembled a couple weeks ago. Found an old Pentium processor inside and salvaged the RAM chips.
my god, I'm so stupid. I forgot to salvage the RAM chips from my old PC.

the first one i owned was some two in one emachines computer
1.6 ghz processor with a 128mb (i think integrated) graphics thing and 1gb of ram

My first computer didn't have a keyboard. I never used the internet back then. Now I have a nice HP laptop. I opened the internet, and then stuff got real.

-snip-

1.6GHz Intel Celeron processor
2GB of RAM
Windows Vista

I still have the case. :)
and the disk drive is currently installed on my gaming rig
Unfortunately, I broke the keyboard two months ago. I got this many years ago.
speaking of compaq, i still have an ancient compaq keyboard that i used when i was little
i'm using it right now

the first computer i owned personally was some stuffty acer laptop with vista

during the time i got it my family was on a tight budget. the only reason we could afford it at the time was because it was a display model in a store, and the manager said we could have it for free since someone forgeted it up. my dad fixed it and then it was mine lol

My grandma had one of these. God, it was terrible with only 192MB of usable RAM.

I don't remember, but I know my parents would play Asheron's call on it.

This was my first, too. Now it's used for playing arcade games.

intel pentium (slot 1 version)
rage 128 pro graphics card
256MB RAM
40GB hard drive X2
and the case was white.

I literally just Googled "eMachines generic desktop"

Either windows 94 or 95.
