unless someone activated the improbability drive.
Even with that much madness going on, the improbability drive wouldn't effect it at all.

I don't think you do if that didn't make sense to you.
i was referencing madness combat.

Annd, this is why I knew 3D printers had flaws, they could probably make guns and load ammo with it?
like, duplicates.
Of course it has flaws. Technology always has the propensity to cause major issues in society. However, the reason why we don't ban technology is because it can also do a lot of good.

Why is this a bad thing?

i love how you guys assume the gun is plastic.

you can make steel guns using 3d printers, the materials exist for it.

so you are saying if I am skydiving with some other random dude, falling at 1500m/s, if that dude gains a little more speed and touches me, I'm dead?

Well the first problem is that you're falling at 1500m/s. The air would probably rip you apart at this speed. Did you bail out of the ISS?

You can create molds using 3D printers and make diecast items, sure, but that's far beyond using a 3D printer for basic stuff.  You'll be spending out the ass.

Tony's argument isn't valid considering the plastics which are "as strong as steel" (which isn't true considering polymers aren't the same as steel) can't be used effectively with a basic 3D printer.  Again, you can get into casting, but that requires a lot more experience and money than owning a 3D printer.

I want to see if they can make these guns bypass metal detectors.
Clever.

To liberals or people trying to pass gun laws it is.

Seeing as how the receiver of the gun pretty much fell apart, and that really doesn't even have to stand up to that much energy.
If you watched the end of the video, you would've saw one of the latest lower receivers that they have made, which lasted over 600 rounds. I don't think that a whole gun could be created from a 3D printer right now but it could happen in the future. 3D printers and materials for it will eventually become better over time.

I watched the whole video. It didn't show 600 rounds, just his claim about it. Though even if that's true if you paid attention to the video, it says you could carve one out of wood. It's not a part that takes any enormous amount of stress so it really doesn't matter if you can print one.

I don't understand what this guy is trying to prove when he says you can carve one out of wood. He just comes off as a huge douche.

in any way at all?

Who cares its not like they can print gun powder or bullets to harm anyone

You can buy/make gun powder and print the shells and casings.

Gearbox could print out 1:1 replicas of Borderlands 1 and 2 guns and sell them for cash.
