Just coloring the dino grey won't make it look like a robot.

I personally think that idea is kinda lame but I'm biased cause I think most mechs/robots are lame :p

Cept Steampunky or industrial things, I LOVE those types of mechs/robots.  But Mech Warriors and Transformers and all of those types of mechs I always found to be a little cheesy.

Progress Update:

T-Rex is pretty much finished. Triceratops and Stego need animations.
I'm so glad I'm actually getting these done.

Anybody have and suggestions or requests for colors? Should T-Rex use mostly greens or browns? And the other two?

For triceratops I'd just recommend using more blues, like slate blue type of colors

and could you possible make the Trex look a little more angry?

Most bots aren't recolorable, they have preset random colors they choose from (if not all the same color)

Edit: I'm pretty sure the bot menu doesnt have a color selection anyways..
