I think it's just stuff he thinks is a good idea at first but then decides against within the first posts.

The last edits to them are all by him.
And looking at the topics, they seem to be ones where he started them with an idea and it was shot down.

He's removed his own posts because either he didn't like people disagreeing with him, or was embarassed about what he had posted and that people didn't agree.

Would've been nicer if he'd just left the posts alone, especially the topic titles.

It could be from where they post in a topic that ends up being fail-binned.
It should delete what they wrote in it to stop them from visiting the thread or looking at the OP.
