Oh yeah. This is why this was never made. People would use it for shockers and research.

I think that it would be cool to have it optional yeah.

But like when you start up blockland there would be a short cinematic showing pretty builds and people fighting and stuff. Of course you can press the enter key to skip it.

But quality servers will have great images, if all the crappy servers have research or shockers then the cream will rise to the top like it used to. I don't see why a potential tool would be thrown out because it could be exploitable like morons find a way to do with everything.

We have had the new launcher for about (2 versions?), and I think it would be a great idea to have user-made splash screens when launching the game. This just popped into my head so thats pretty much it.

If the splash screen was server-sided it would lead to people abusing it, as much as I'd like it to become reality, the truth is our community is too immature to handle it.

What about gmod? It works fine there, it should work fine here.

there's a camera add-on around on the add-ons subforum that will cycle your entire blockland pictures folder through the loading screen.
