EDIT: For the record, I think this is a terrible and stupid fad. I just found out how to use Gimp to animate today, though, and I'm having fun with it.

i've actually been meaning to learn, how do you edit/create gifs with gimp? i usually get the first frame

You just load up an image in there. Each layer is a frame. You can specify the time and type of transition in the little new layer menu. Then, when you export it as a .gif, you select "animate" or something.

Whoops, messed up on that one. I dunno why it has the white border around part of it. I'll fix it.

I can't figure out how to do that. I'm really Gimp illiterate, sorry. When I finish Joltarn's, I'll keep testing things.

EDIT: Figured out how to do it. But Joltarn's avatar has forty-five frames, so I'll be doing his for a while.

EDIT 2: Joltarn, if you don't use this, I'm going to shoot you right in the family. That took ages and was totally mind numbing.

Someone shrek my Fiona but make him in the very corner peeking out with a quarter of him visible.
