My friends, esteemed internet colleagues and funnymen; my I venture to inform you that something monumental has happened in my life.
In mid 2007, a young boy posted a video of the popular video game, Halo 1, with the ending screen captured from a cam hack and edited so that when the main character, Master Chief, takes off his helmet it shows instead the young boy's face (rather than another helmet if you watch the original). The young boy, making this video for a friend (who was excited for the upcoming release of Halo 3) as such tagged the video with just that, "Halo 3, Master Chief's Real Face."
Now, you might have seen this video posted by me once or twice to comment on some of the fantastically horrible (and unintelligent drivel) of a comment section I have on this video.
But last night at roughly 9'o'clock EST, something glorious happened. The video has reached 1,000,000 views!
That's 1,000,000 people watching my video, and 1,000,000 butthurt 13 year-olds with a complex. It's hilarious and has provided me with more than just laughs, too. This video has actually earned me $200, whole dollars, in a year! Gotta love the advertising industry: does it have an audience even though it's horribly hated? Yeah, people will still click on links under it. And by golly, they actually do. I've been paid real money to be sure of it. I have been paid to troll. I guess that makes me a professional.
tl;dr - Halo video reaches 1,000,000 views, nerds butthurt everywhere, fun is had by all.
Also, Happy Easter. Is this a coincidence? I think not. For I am the lord risen, and I said among thee: Master Chief is a massive cigaretteot.
