basically : christians whining over the nonexistence of a google easter doodle

I don't think google is obligated to post a doodle for easter.

edit
kearn's greatest hits
i dont understand why google decides to dedicate today to a jerk activist most people have never heard of and instead ignore a holiday that's been observed by billions for almost 2000 years

Quote
the easter bunny has nothing to do with the original purpose of easter also 1/10 ms paint 2 minutes effort try harder please it shows potential!!!

yeah, honestly.
just because it's a religious holiday doesn't mean an actual person that did something shouldn't be recognized.

At least its a doodle for something that happened and not some text on a book written 1000s of years ago

Completely agree. If I recall correctly, before he came into office the literacy rate in Venezuela was around 20%, whereas now it's around 90%.

Edit: Yeah, I realize I made a mistake but I'm keeping this here because it's pretty funny.

Haha, my brother and I noticed that this morning and figured "somewhere out there, there's probably a bunch of people stuffting their pants over this"

you must be thinking of someone else..

It would be awesome if they changed it to passover

Silly people.

Google was never obligated to doodle anything on their page ever, so what does it matter that they chose to doodle something else?

Seeing as easter has been mostly turned into another 'comercialization holiday', it's probably for the better.

It'd probably be something not pertaining to the religious side anyways so I'd say this'd be better.

No but seriously. Read this

Even though I'm Christian, It really isn't googles fault that Easter and Cesar Chavez's birthday fell on the same date.
I bet someone took time into that doodle and Google promised them to show it because Google probably was gonna show an Easter doodle from last year anyways.

Plus, google's easter doodle isn't jesus on the cross which is what probably our Christian community was expecting. It has some easter eggs so I dont see why people are complaining.

Easter was an egyptian holiday for love and fertility until the Christians Christianized it.

Egg stands for pregnancy and bunnies stand for love.

Hahaha I am, silly me. Obviously still support the doodle though.
