No such thing as "quality earbuds," get headphones.
Bullstuff. In-Ear-Monitors (Or IEMs) can give fantastic sound for a relatively cheap price. IEMs are still headphones, they're just a different style of directing sound to your ears. Over-ear headphones of course sound great too, it all depends on what you prefer, because a lot of people don't like inserting things into their ear cbrown towns.
IEMs can give just as well sound as over-ears or on-ear headphones, depending on the quality of the model that you buy of course. Not to mention, you can't fold up a full set of headphones to fit into your pants pocket if you want to have headphones that can travel with you or whatever, if that's your thing.
I'm not claiming IEMs are better than any other type of headphones, but there are such a thing as "quality earbuds".
I've owned multiple quality over/on-ear headphones and IEMs so I know the difference in general sound quality between the two types, but I just hate it when people assume all "Earbuds" are pieces of stuff.
