Well I don't really mind as that closes off the milk-the-star-wars-franchise-until-its-udders-are-black-stalactites department.

Disgusting.
Why would you use such a term?
Why, does it just juice your oranges?
Mash your potatoes?
Rev your engines?

Childhood ruined, going to go off myself.

it kinda dosnt matter, they are just cleaning up the stuffhole mess they bought into lol

they will still use the franchises under new management, so all it good.

Guys, calm yourselves. This won't be anything like EA and Maxis..... *shudder*

So what you're saying is that any game company could just go "Hey, I wanna make a Star Wars game or something" and Disney can decide whether to let them make it or not?
Correct, which could also mean a better developer could pick up on any projects, so long as they have the money to invest.

You people wouldn't even care if Lucasarts disappeared and no one had told you, we would be going the fifth year before someone decided to say "Why hasn't Lucasarts published a new game yet?". This company was dead a long time ago when Battlefront 3 was canceled and we should have seen it coming.

LucasArts haven't released a good game in years. These layoffs seem justified.

LucasArts haven't been relevant in years until this news just arrived.
