Does EA Los Angeles(recently renamed too Danger Close Games) and EA Phenomic ring a bell? Studios that make the games that EA publishers are all owned by EA. Also,"In January 2013, EA announced that Medal of Honor series was taken 'out of rotation' due to poor reception of Warfighter; consequently, the series is being put on a hold while EA reevaluates its strategy." Sounds like they play a big part in development, they may not make the games themselves, but they do have the money to make people do it and the power to decide how they work.
