Afterwind is a fun multiplayer RTS that is free. I play it once a year though because the people on it are crude.

I'd play Rise of nations with you and have a WWII-Era war, but the discs are all scratched up, so i'll have to wait until I buy a new disc or find a way to play it without the disc (no pirating either)
Oh great, now i'm just itching for a blitzkrieg..
