Resetting inactive players names?

I got this idea from a friend who was talking about his name that he wanted being took and he was wondering if the names ever get reset for inactive accounts

Uhh no, thats like saying you don't own the account anymore...technically no but technically yes...you bought the game and you picked a name and then all because you stopped playing for a while your name gets changed.

I guess, I don't mind it. It should change if the player hasn't been on for a long time. Like one year or 10 months or something.
