It's been twelve years and the Air Force thinks taking less boots off the ground and putting drones in the sky will stop guerilla fighters. They wanted to do that in Vietnam with manned aircraft and in the end their bombings did nothing. Meanwhile the army gets more funding than the marines, yet the army lowered their recruitment standards. Now you have these guys who are out of shape, gang member, or psychologically inept to handle combat. The problem is opposite with marines who have a harder time readjusting to peaceful setting. They are programed to kill, simple as that.
