OK, so yesterday I just found out that Disney
CLOSED LUCASARTS. That means that 1313, First Assault, and ALL current projects they were working on have been CANCELED, or at least are on hiatus. I don't really watch the Clone Wars show, but they decided to CANCEL that too in it's FINAL season. It's like they're desperately TRYING to piss people off! This better be a goddamn April fools joke. So pissed off right now. I don't even know if I want to see Star Wars 7 anymore... It just makes no sense. They could have made millions of dollars off of Lucasarts, because they hardly EVER sell a game that DOESN'T make a lot of money. But nope, they want to use it as a licensing tool so third party developers can make all the Star Wars games. The only third party developers that actually made GOOD Star Wars games have pretty much all suffered the same fate as Lucasarts.
Why is this year such a crappy year for Gaming? I don't mean the games are bad, because Bioshock Infinite was amazing, but first THQ bites the dust. and now Lucasarts follows. AND IT'S ONLY BEEN 4 MONTHS SINCE THE YEAR STARTED!
