That's because the GOP wants to cut things like social security because it doesn't benefit rich people.

"The only difference between the Republican and Democratic parties is the velocities with which their knees hit the floor when corporations knock on their door."

More than the GOP wants to cut it.

a 150 billion dollar cut to medicare and social security and a 40 billion increase to defense isn't going to cause a 600 billion difference in yearly deficits

also a 12% cut to social security, medicare, and medicaid is worth it if it results in 1.7 trillion less in debt, a 560 billion reduction in yearly deficits, and a gdp that's 2.8 trillion larger in 4 years

But those cuts forget over the people that need the help the most, i.e the extremely poor, the sick, an the elderly. None of which Republicans seem to care about.

why is everyone so afraid of cutting a small portion from welfare systems? nobody is going to have anything at all if the US defaults on its debts, this is basically drinking more alcohol until death from alcohol poisoning instead of going through withdrawl and continuing on

also i don't think you even get it, with the gop budget we will still be spending more than ever on medicare, medicaid, and social security

well duh they only care about the rich and being rich lol

dumb statement, please make a point instead of dragging this incoherent garbage out every time
