thats not the point? he's cutting "future" spending from programs that help the poor. those poor people will be screwed in a few years if his budget goes through lol

why is everyone so afraid of cutting a small portion from welfare systems? nobody is going to have anything at all if the US defaults on its debts, this is basically drinking more alcohol until death from alcohol poisoning instead of going through withdrawl and continuing on

The problem stems when they're trying to cut basic social programs and at the same time spending obscene amounts of money bailing out banks.

also i don't think you even get it, with the gop budget we will still be spending more than ever on medicare, medicaid, and social security

a laissez-faire economy is what we're trying to get, government bailouts are handicapped and businesses deserve to file bankruptcy and reorganize if they risk large portions of assets and then lose them

these "basic social programs" are costing us ridiculous amounts of money, the food stamp program is so awful you can basically find a corrupt grocer, swipe an ebt card, split the money, and then go buy whatever you want with your free money

and nobody is trying to cut them, just slow down spending increases

>criticizes bailouts
>supports cutting social programs
>doesn't realize that what dkamm basically said is

i'm inferring he doesn't want bailouts and also doesn't want welfare cuts

If we're trying to reduce our deficit why would we increase military spending at all? Also a true laissez-faire economy would be loving awful.
