Author Topic: I need a website host  (Read 960 times)

So yeah, don't ask why. It's a secret, that none of you know about. Well someone may know.

Anyways, I was looking at godaddy.com, hostgator.com... But I was wondering if there is one that is better. I'm willing to pay the $15 a year if needed. But I was wondering if there was just a cheaper one.

http://www.000webhost.com/

Pretty good ^
Free too.

But isn't it similar to weebly.com / webs.com. Where you have some odd extension such as

blockland.asdasd.com?

no?

You can have you're own domain if you buy one.

Where do you suggest purchasing a domain from?

I would've suggested Google Apps as it's only a dollar a month; but that got shut down a while ago.

I suggest GoDaddy; it's what google apps used to host websites. I use google apps + 000webhost for my website and it works perfectly.

dot.tk
it's a good website builder AND you get no bullstuff like .fsgfdggf.com
just website.tk
as a user for a long time, i certainly recommend it to you.
i swear.

What.

Good luck finding a good host at $15 per year.

You can use Amazon's VPS cloud free for 12 months.

I use Namecheap for my domains. Stay away from 1&1, they suck!. I've been with namecheap for about 2-3 years now, never had a problem. You have a lot of control over your domain too.

After the first year it's about $10.50.

GoDaddy is a scumbag host that does stuff like take the domains you look up and then they sell them at higher prices.
