Yup as the title says I now have my own computer. It isn't very good however.
65gb HD
512MB Ram
Integrated everything.
OS: Windows XP Professional SP3
CPU: 1.60ghz
Model # HP Compaq dx2300 Microtower

Can't take and beef it up any because the hardware is completely differant than any hardware we have. It doesn't use ribbons or anything.

The fact that it doesn't use ribbon cables means it's probably more modern.

Its a few years old. It was designed to use Windows XP SP2, I was able to update it because we had an old SP3 disk lying around.

Not really, Windows XP is one of the best OS's made. And this computer has more RAM and everything. The other one as 128mb RAM.

I think I was just exaggerating the atrocity of your computer compared to modern computers.

Anyway, I guess that should last you until you get, y'know, a real computer. Save up for an Alienware laptop.

I'm going to get a fast food job sometime or another. Well try, the one near me is so short on people they'll hire anyone at this point.

I might go for alien ware, but it'll take a while to save for.

Also I need a new background.
