Author Topic: Earthbound is FINALLY coming out on the Wii U!  (Read 1585 times)

So...it's just coming to the Virtual Console? Not to sound rude, but what's the big deal? You can already play it perfectly fine on a SNES (if you manage to have a copy, I think Earthbound was one of those rare carts?) or emulator, which I assume like everyone has already done at this point.

This.

Besides, I have a feeling Nintendo are going to richard the Europeans around again like they did when they first released this game.

Haha, when I saw your avatar, I immediately believed you would be happy about that

Well basically, it's like Blockland going on Steam. People might not want the game on the emulator until it goes on an offical Nintendo console.

Besides, most people don't have SNESs

Nintendo hasn't been releasing any Mother games on any virtual consoles in the past. This might be a sign that here is a sequel in the works.

Every time I see an Earthbound cart, it was around 50-80 dollars.
If you're paying $100+ for Earthbound, you're an idiot.

then again fellas i thought it'd be one of the first VCs to come out during the time

Oh my god, where are you getting those prices? I must know!

Y'know, there's a website that emulates all of the NES/SNES games (and more) for free.

You can even play with any kinda gamepad hooked up to your computer.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

There's 2 types of prices I've heard of garage sale prices (including game stores sometimes) and internet prices. internet prices are more expensive then garage sale prices. well I just got it from a video so yeah research this yourself. like go look on craiglist for your town and hit the flea markets, garage sales & yard sales.
