Author Topic: The duplicator should be made default  (Read 1365 times)

I mean really, it's a handy tool (and it's pretty much necessary when building to make duplicates of a model you built). Some people can't download add-ons as they don't work, such as people like me.

are you sure you're installing it correctly

are you sure you're installing it correctly

Yes, after it downloaded I placed it into my add-ons folder.
Tried this multiple times in the past 6-12 months.

Are you extracting the zip file?

Yes, I always have.

that's not what you're supposed to do

you're supposed to just put the zip file in

that's not what you're supposed to do

you're supposed to just put the zip file in

I tried extracting it, didn't work a few times.
Then I tried just simply placing the zip file into the folder, still did not work.

tips

1. don't extract the zip AT ALL
2. don't remove anything from the zip unless you know what you're doing AT ALL
3. do not move anything from the zip into the folder unless otherwise instructed
4. use rtb
5. remember to put it in addons, not just the blockland folder

So should I delete all the add-ons I installed that aren't working and start fresh? And I don't remove anything from the zip. And I thought we are suppose to move the add-on zip file to our add-on folder when the download is finished.. And RTB won't work for me at all either, trust me, that I downloaded right I think.

Chances are you are screwing something up, whether it is putting add-ons into the wrong add-ons folder (moved as of v20 I believe) or just screwing with the .zip file, you should probably just stick to downloading add-ons through RTB since that does these things for you.

I do download my add-ons from the RTB site though, WAIT, but when I do I still place it into my add-ons folder.
Is this the right way to do it or no?

Okay.
Step 1: Download the specified file
Step 2: Place it in Libraries/Documents/Blockland/Add-Ons
Step 3: Enable it when starting a Custom game (it may be at the bottom of the list)
Got that?

Without doing ANYTHING IN BETWEEN:

Step 1: Download File.
Step 2: Place Zip File In Addons Folder in Documents.
Step 3: Close Folder.
Step 4: Open Blockland.
Step 5:
Enable it when starting a Custom game (it may be at the bottom of the list)
Step 6: Benefit.
Got that?

And I did this multiple times and doesn't work still.

I don't even see any of the add-on(s) I downloaded listed in the "Custom" game-mode.
