People could do very dangerous things, or possibly hurt themselves. those mean the same thing. also, beer and tobacco are legal. both of them do damage to the user's body and beer enables the user to damage theirself. And anyways, do you want any handicaps to walk around high because it's legal? like public drunkenness, tripping out in public should be illegal. So yes, legalizing them is VERY stupid. if they don't affect you, and they don't have extremely harmful side effects or addictive chemicals, they should be legal.

Meth is a paranoia-inducing highly addictive substance made from stuff like battery acid and cough syrup. Mushrooms are a natural thing. I'm not saying that they should be legal, but stuff, don't compare them to loving meth. What are you, a middle-aged suburban soccer mom?

And really now, if certain drugs were legalized, people who haven't used them yet probably won't. If weed was legalized, people who were using it would just keep on using it, and people who weren't probably wouldn't. A good amount of people would probably start using it, but chances are, it would be a marginal amount.
