well the fact that the spin dash in sa1 launched me into pits faster than anything else shows that it's a pretty badly made game
but there's an e-102 to counter that loving cat and there's a ghost pumpkin's soup to counter biolizard, it's a take it or leave it series

Comparably bad? Yes. They were way too easy.
Worst? Nah, just because the stages in SA2 were very linear and the games were pretty easy, doesn't mean they aren't fun to play.
