Author Topic: I've been getting a fraud warning on BLF for a while now.  (Read 640 times)

I guess there is some way this site could harm my computer  but I don't know what. Anyone have a guess?

What browser are you using

I can tell you why but first you got to give me your social assurance number...

are you using some terrible browser security plugin mcaffe or norton?

that seems like something i'd expect from one of their products

I guess it's because I'm using Opera but I can't remember if I got this warning right when I started using it.

Opera does that
use chrome

Firefox doesn't work when I use YouTube, and Google Chrome got stuck with this gay ass Babylon search instead of google, and  it's incredibly handicapped. I don't want to download Safari either.

You can change the Chrome search thing by going to settings. Or you can ignore / probably disable the warning in Opera, if you want to keep using it.

btw, babylon gives me a stuffton of ads.

When I try to delete or change babylon, it still stays. Plus, I set it to google and it STILL is babylon.

Oh, uh...can you uninstall it in Control Panel? Or maybe run a virus scan? I dunno what to tell you about Firefox, or Chrome, then. I'll search for how to disable the warnings in Opera.

EDIT: Go to Settings > Preferences > Advanced > Security and disable the fraud and malware warnings, if you don't want them to show up any more. You may need to be a little more careful in the future, though, as it seems impossible to tell it this specific site is safe.

Norton's web browser thing isn't bad at all, Its protected me from malware plenty of times.
