Alright, I'm sorry, but I need a quick recap (doesn't need too much detail) of past research and tech.

Gravitanium, lasers, railguns and space colonies are just a normal stage of advancement for Erinaum, in comparison, it's like the technology of cell phones today; it's been around for a while.  Erinamese ships can travel at near the speed of light, though a breakthrough on the GnFTL Drive looms.  Erinaum is now looking for ways to use probability gates to act as portals.  (Think as a hole in space-time that connects with another hole in space-time somewhere else, except that when thinking in terms of probability, you must think of space-time as a folded piece of paper, and the probability gate as using a hole puncher through both sheets.  While the piece is folded, the distance between the entrance and the exit is very little.  When the paper is unfolded, we realize that thinking 4th dimensionally, we appear to jump from one place in space to another without traveling the distance imbetween.  In other words, a sub-spacial portal.

Sounds awesome. What about Invincium and Telur?

Telur is an a special light-like energy with unusual harmonic properties.

Invincium is made from Telur, fired through a tunnel of spinning Gravitanium reactors.  It converts some of the energy from Telur into mass.  It's essentially a super lightweight material whose state varies depending on how it is manipulated.  It cannot be broken down by force.  It can be reused indefinitely so long as it is recharged.  It can be stretched into strips and applied to the blade of a knife, for instance, to make it really freaking sharp.  Or it can serve as a thin wire for aircraft carrier cables (though most aircraft in Erinaum are VTOLs).  Invincium also gets ridiculously hot when an electric current is allowed to pass through it.  For this reason, it can be used to replace metal cutting equipment.
