If Blockteen were to emulate the events in raven's server, it shouldn't have he exact same event lines, names, and timings as raven's due to the relatively complex events required. See, if every single line was the same, it should be pretty obvious that it is a copy.

#1: The distance from the windows on Blockteen's to the plates is much, much less than Ravencroft's. Why would someone save a build, destroy a spectating area, and move it down 20 studs? Also, why would someone make the spectating area bland when the build he stole has a great spectating room?

#2: The ramp angle for the windows are totally different.

#3: The windows themselves are totally different. Look at the middle two window sections in both pictures. In Blockteen's they are 6 windows wide. In Ravencroft's, they are 3 windows wide.

#4: Ravencroft's walls are made with print bricks and/or large cube bricks to eliminate ugly lines. Blockteen's are not.


Everyone is looking at what makes them similar. Why not look at what makes them different?

Also, there is nothing wrong with using the events from a build you saved if you can't figure them out yourself. It helps in figuring out how the events work and it helps players to learn more about events. I did this all the time when events had first come out. I wouldn't be surprised if Blockteen DOES have a save of Ravencroft's build just for reference and/or for using some of the events. Also, why would you want to make 16 lines of events when the exact thing you need is in a build you have saved?

You're suggesting that we look at Blockteen's events to figure out if he has stolen the build or not. If he does have the exact events, it wouldn't prove anything because I see people use other people's events in their builds all the time. In fact, I do it, too.

Blockteen liked the style of Ravencross' build and therefore took concepts of it and put it into his.

I still don't like the whole inspiration idea. It's not that hard to come up with your own original layout, or build.

People were claiming he stole the loving build, practically everyone in the loving server by the looks of it.

What the forget are you all even arguing about?  From the comparisons post, I'd say that both servers are vastly different.  His looks as similar to mine as it does to "Ravencroft"'s.
