Strange yellow (?) line appearing on monitor

Okay, so recently (within the hour of this post) a yellow, one-pixel vertical strip has appeared on my monitor. Here's a picture:

Now, this yellow strip goes over anything else, cursor, windows, everything. And what's stranger, it doesn't appear in screenshots, here's a screenshot of my desktop in the same place:

Obviously, no yellow line.

I think it might be a problem with my monitor, but I have no idea what could've caused it. Is there any explanation for what's happening, and how can I fix it?

i had a problem with a green line not too long ago, and it eventually got worse until my entire screen was green.
i had to send it in for repair, unfortunately.

edit: should probably mention i can't see the images, my ipod is stupid.

It's probably just broke. I would just send it in for repairs or buy a new one.

So I guess it's starting to break. About how long can I expect to be able to use it before it becomes unreasonably covered with yellow lines?

As far as I'm concerned... One line is already unreasonable. I wouldn't be able to stand it.

Yeah, you're monitor's loving up.
Give it a few months and see what happens.

As far as I'm concerned... One line is already unreasonable. I wouldn't be able to stand it.

Meh, one line's fine, I'd say unreasonable is 7-10 lines. Anything less than that is just slightly annoying.

A friend of mine had the exact same problem.

They just learned to live with it though.

So if you just can't stand it, I would suggest getting a new monitor. Maybe an LG.
