EDIT: I'm not sure what math he's talking about. Frostbite does happen in 5 minutes when it's negative 45 degrees out with 60 mph winds. So it could have something to do with the numbers 5 -45 and 60, or the numbers -45 60 and -98. OR it could have something to do with all of those numbers. I also noticed that he said negative 45 degrees instead of just -45 degrees, that could be a red herring or not. He also didn't say whether it was Fahrenheit or Celsius.

EDIT:I just used the numbers from the supposed "equation" you gave us and mixed them up.
60-45-5= 10
60-5-45= 10
45-60-5= -20
45-5-60= -20
5-45-60= -100
5-60-45= -100
