Have you read the rules and storyline? Yes I have read the rules and storyline, quite carefully.
What roleplay experience do you have? I am proficient primarily with space RP's, and post-apocalypse RP's involving cataclysmic natural disasters and zombie agent outbreaks. I have been on as many relevant and quality-oriented RP's as I could find, and have high skills in controlling multiple characters, text based RP, and world event mastery. I am highly proficient at serious RP and know exactly where the line is.

Character biography/back-story:
Leroy Beyetzi, born in 1970 to Bill and Sruoka Beyetzi, had a relatively uneventful childhood in a remote township in Colorado. At the age of 8, Leroy fantasized about becoming a truck driver or a train operator, and had more knowledge about both subjects than any other kid in either of his two elementary schools or in his middle school. During his intermediate school years, Leroy developed an interest in sciences, mainly earth and biology, and he and his friends formed their own little science club. He and the rest of the club spent long hours exploring the neighborhood, linking paths between their houses and teaming up for long jaunts into neighboring townships. The club came to a sudden end when, following a marital dispute, Leroy's family suddenly decided to move to San Diego.
At age 16, Leroy began to encounter economic difficulties stemming from his father's expensive flying and area-risky gun hobbies, along with social difficulties between his father and himself. Deciding to depart as soon as possible, Leroy switched his persuits back to his childhood dreams of trucking. After graduation, Leroy began to pursue a career in cross-country solo trucking with Zigungi National Shipping (ZNS). After succeeding in training, Leroy traveled across the country as a solo operator for ZNS, carrying foods and hazardous materials from coast to coast, in the United States and Canada, and later becoming a flatbed transporter of machineries and carpentry materials. At age 22, Leroy was a reputable member of the company, having braved heavy snowstorms, hurricanes, and even duststorms in his years of driving. Through his years of long hours behind the wheel, Leroy gained an intuitive knowledge of the roads of the country and a great skill of vigilance and patience against long hours of non-stop focus on the hazards of the road.
At the age of 29, Leroy was quietly recruited by Tewovi Research Facility (TRF), headquartered in a discrete location deep in Nevada, and became a classified dedicated operator carrying cargo between a ZNS terminal and a private dropship airport. This cargo consisted of high-level hazmats of varying nature, much of it delicate, and most of it requiring a special trailer. Leroy, naturally, became quite curious about TRF and decided to pursue pilot training for the dropships that took cargo to the TRF site itself.
At age 32, Leroy secured an alternating position with a partner; while Leroy drove the truck between the terminal and the airport, his partner, Bill, flew the dropship between the airport and TRF; at the end of both runs, the two would switch places. It took two trips for the dropship to carry what Leroy's one truck could take by wheel to the airport in one, so the timing and the learning experiences of Leroy and Bill worked out nicely.
By the age of 40, Leroy had gained considerable knowledge of the operations within the TRF, and decided to work up the ranks towards a position deeper in the facility, eventually becoming a security patrol officer. He was also trained in emergency procedures as a passenger drop ship operator, to be put into action as such if TRF ever needed to be evacuated in a hurry.
Leroy was 42 when news of trouble outside began to circulate within the facility. Leroy, paying special attention to news of his former truck route between the ZNS terminal and the airport, was among the first to learn that the route had suddenly been discontinued. On December 5th, 2012, the TRF executed "Operation Zedlock", whereupon the facility's perimeter fence was converted into a high wall with patrol runs and watchtowers. The facility became completely self-contained and self-sustaining, with its own farms for food and biofuels for modified dropships. Nearly a year later, the facility began to send out scout parties to different areas of the state, finding the world in decay with infected zombie-like humans hostile and hungry. TRF slowly expanded the search across the country, setting up waypoints at abandoned airports.
Leroy was a pilot for one of the most ambitious scouting jaunts; his party was heading north towards Alaska with two other parties exploring the coasts of British Columbia. Somewhere near the border of Alaska, the three dropships landed and the parties rested, intending to separate as Leroy proceeded into Alaska. Near the end of their break, a group of infected attacked the group, infecting one of the two other dropship's scoutsmen. Shortly after the dropships took off, the infected scoutsman succumbed to the infection and attacked the pilot, causing the dropship to lurch sideways; it hit Leroy's ship, causing major damage to both ships, before crashlanding in the woods below. Leroy was able to pilot his ship a few kilometers deeper into Alaska before it too lost power, crashlanding in the woods. The three survivors of the landing party, suddenly cut off from TRF, ultimately decided to go their own way despite Leroy's warnings insisting that going alone was much more dangerous.
Separated from his forces, Leroy headed into the forest alone with his backpack, searching for establishment.
What faction do you hope to join? My stated preference is the Modernizers.
PS: A: The TRF and ZNS are not meant to be eventual supplementaries to the RP; they are specifically meant for the RP background of the character. If I am going to far with it, I can make modifications. B: The name "Leroy" is not, as has been put by people into the category of the internet meme "Leroy Jenkins", is not intended as such and was not conceived with that in mind. C: I am an excellent builder, and can help out if so needed.
