Author Topic: brick map  (Read 1350 times)

hey would it be possible to make like a gui map screen that is toggable that would tell you where bricks were on the map within a certain radius of you... to take care of the annoying hidden noob spam.... or to solve lag problems?

Use the biggest baseplate, place it and look for see through spots.

What? That doesn't even make sense. See through spots? WTF are you talking about?

he ment that the first poster was dumb enough (and we warned you) that compleat invisabe bricks are bad and now he got invisable spam, so second poster says that using the ghost of a huge brick (64X64), your able to find it, but it takes time.

yah well idk where your reading from shock cuz i never said anything about invisible bricks....

not at all...

but what if you go onto a server and people aren't building by the spawn and they aren't in sight, and they won't tell you where they are... to save time by flying around you could open a map that would mark where nearby bricks were....

Just make it a habit to clear bricks before your final save. Only keep what builds you want. Anybody can save their own blocks, so there is no reason for them to complain (their blocks would become your blocks anyway, once you loaded after you saved, making you have to trust them if they wanted to continue).

As long as you clear people's blocks, there will be NO spam. Just be sure to do this before your final save.

It also helps to spy on people every now and then to see what they are up to. If it looks like spam, let them continue until they are bored, then just clear their blocks when they leave, or if their spam becomes a clear problem.

Hopefully Badspot will update the game and make it so that it remembers who block's are who's even after you loaded a previous save. This would make it so that spam is no longer a problem.

Or, build in singleplayer. If it's a co-op build, make a passworded online server.

trash you can't clear if you're not the host, so if you save a build you made on a server, and loaded it on single player, wouldn't it be nice to have a way to find all the other ppl's bricks you saved so you can get rid of em...
