all it would be is period blood because i'm not sure if there is anyway to extract the eggs without it being shed during the period.

They can remove eggs via needles if they're to be used for donation or IVF or study.

People use sperm for making babies.

The whole point of selling your sperm to a sperm bank is that the bank then sells the sperm to wanting parents.

It can go towards making a family for couples who can't have, or don't want to have a child from their own sperm.
That can be lesbian couples, those where the male has poor-quality sperm, couples who have hereditary diseases or even those physically disabled.
