Author Topic: Stonehearth - this game looks awesome  (Read 3350 times)

Reminds me of Cube World mixed with 3d Dot Game Heroes.

If I get enough money, I will donate $15.
Will this game have a subscription though where we'd have to pay monthly for the game when it releases, or could we pay once and have it forever? I'd hate to pay monthly.

Why would it be monthly?

Everything doesn't have to be made out of loving cubes.

cool
i like the way it looks with cubes, i wouldn't like it as much without it

Made me think of Timber and Stone.

i think voxels look quite nice, actually

Agreed, but this wouldn't be appealing at all for me if this wasn't created using voxels.

Are you people serious. The cubes look horrid, but its not going to make me go "Oh god not playing it"

Saying you wouldnt be interested if it wasnt made with voxels just shows how handicapped consumers are anymore

Going to have to agree.
An art style wouldn't stop me from enjoying a game, ever.

But I would prefer if 'retro' and 'voxel' weren't the 'go-to' styles. Can't blame them, people are stupid enough to buy games simply for that art style.

This game was funded fast! Just $400,000 and we'll get coop :D

Why would anyone need $400,000 just to make a game? Is it so they can pay the developers and programmers who are working on this game?

And motivation.

And motivation.
And rent, food, other home expenses.
$400,000 = don't need any job = more time for working on game

The developers personal life is irrelevant considering how they've gained $400,000 so far, these donations are suppose to go to the game; not their kids, homes, mortgages, or food.
