Author Topic: Games that have you make choices  (Read 2828 times)

I like the idea of games that make you decide things which change the events and outcomes of the game. The Walking Dead by Telltale is an example, but I do not want this game. Saints Row the Third had a few choices, but they didnt really change much. What games are available that are based on choices? Steam is preferable

Games mentioned so far:

Chrono Trigger No
Papers, please Already played
Heavy Rain No
Deus Ex Will try
Mass Effect Will try
Dishonored Might try
The Suffering Already played
Fire Emblem No
Subrosa? Dont know what this is
Fable Already played
Star Wars KotOR Already played
Fallout Already played

yeah, but thats the only game I could think of that is based around decisions

look no further than heavy rain

Deus Ex, but I'm assuming you've played that already. Not sure how Human Revolution works but I doubt it's as in-depth as the first game.

saw a playthrough of it, so there's no point. Dont have a PS3 anyway

I have not played Deus Ex. I have played Human Revolution, though, but I didn't really feel like the choices affected much though, at least from what I recall. I will keep that in mind, though

The Mass Effect series is amazing and relies heavily on your choices throughout the series. Im assuming youve played them already though.

The problem with choice-based games is they almost always have all the paths lead to the same ending :(

Have not played Mass Effect either, honestly

Dishonored had some hidden "choices". The results had a moderate effect on the gameplay / story as well.

Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3.
