Make an avatar for a lazy bum

For a while I've been trying to make a decent transparent avatar, but with no result. If I try to upload the image below, the transparent parts turn black.

I need someone who can make a quick avatar. What I want is:

• 75x75 without stretching or distorting the image
• Comes up as transparent
• Centered on the face

I also included the original below if someone wants to start over.
