I really don't understand how people think a terabyte is some huge amount of data. 500GB is like nothing, my steam folder alone is 435GB. Now with all the the other games I have on my computer it's probably around 600ish GB. Now all the other media I have and I'm at a terabyte no problem. Drive space is dirt cheap, I also like not wasting bandwith on downloading stuff over and over.

it's had about 10gb of empty space for the past four years and i used to constantly get problems with space
then i got a 912gb laptop

I've had this 500GB external drive plugged into my PS3, since my PS3's internal memory is only 80GB 60GB. It uses USB 3.0.
