Today, I drank Mountain Dew for the first time. It had a pretty big effect on me, and I now have much more energy then I did earlier. I came up with this experiment about half an hour ago:
If you drink Mountain Dew, can you get more headshots in TF2 as Sniper than if you were to not drink Mountain Dew?I'm going to perform this experiment
next week on one day, then the week after that on the same day when I'm free, and record it.
What do you think?
EDIT: Some people have asked about some of the variables of the experiment. Here's my answer:
Gamemode: Attack/Defend
Map: cp_dustbowl (
EDIT: There are pretty much no Gorge-only servers in the UK)
Server:
Fragmasters.co.uk [ **_BEGINNERS_** D .U .S .T .B .O .W .L ] Rounds: Three
Day: Wednesday
Type of Dew: Regular
Amount: 500ml
>How much sleep will you have had before Mountain Dew vs after? 10:30PM (after using computer for a while) to 7:00AM
>Did you eat anything and at what time(s)? Eat breakfast at 7:30AM, eat lunch at 1:10PM, I eat pretty much the same thing at these times too: Breakfast is Shreddies, Lunch is a sandwich, a twix, an apple, orange juice and some raisins.
>Are you playing with other people? If so the experiment is void right there. The closest thing you could get to perfect would be playing against bots. A perfect situation would be the bots moving in the same pattern every time you test. I will play on the same server both times. It's true that the test can't be perfect in these circumstances, but it's the best I can do.
>What kind of noise do you have around you? Are there distracting things? Both times I will be playing in a quiet environment.
>Time of day Drink Mountain Dew at 3:20PM, start playing around 4:30PM
>How does Mountain Dew medically effect you? Not sure about technical stuff, but approximately 1 hour after drinking, I start the feel the buzz.
Are you Blu? Red? Red, as defense is sniper's strong point.
Do you have anything that protects you from spies enabled? Nope, no razorbacks or anything.
Are you playing on a server with hackers? Nope.
Are you hacking? Again, nope.
etc.
Too many human error variables.
Will you be on the same server? Already answered, yes.
Will you have the same connection speed? Yes.
What about the players? The players the first time might suck ass, but the second group might be MLG pro. I'm worried about that too. I might have to try multiple times to get people with the same skill level as the previous time.
