Author Topic: The Humble Double Fine Bundle  (Read 1872 times)

Five crazy imaginative games from Double Fine Productions.

We're quadrupling the amount of Double Fine fun you can have with four awesome games from Double Fine Productions and a whole heap of extra stuff! Pay what you want and get the beloved and hilarious platformer Psychonauts; the matryoshka doll epic adventure Stacking; and the adorable adventure/RPG Costume Quest. If you pay over the average, you'll get the heavy metal action/adventure/RTS rocker Brütal Legend. You'll also become a slacker backer of Double Fine's Kickstarter point-and-click adventure game, Broken Age, with a purchase of $35 or more and receive the finished game and bonus content that comes with it! And if you pay $70 or more you'll receive a limited edition Double Fine T-shirt (choose from two color options) in addition to everything else! Additionally, this bundle includes tons of soundtracks that will have your ears jumping for joy!

Pay what you want. If you bought all of these games and soundtracks separately, they'd cost you over $120. But we're letting you set the price and you could receive a nifty limited edition Double Fine T-shirt to rock!

Cross-platform and DRM-free. These games will all run on Mac, Windows, and Linux! A purchase of $1 or more will also get you Steam keys (pay over the average to get a Steam key for Brütal Legend)! A purchase of $35 or more will additionally get you Broken Age (currently under development) for Steam/Windows/Mac/Linux! Note that this is the debut for many of the Mac and Linux versions of the games. Please be patient while the developers fix any 1.0 bugs as quickly as they can, and don't hesitate to contact us if you run into any issues!

Support vital charities. Choose how you want to divide your purchase: between Double Fine, the Child's Play Charity, or the Electronic Frontier Foundation. And if you're liking this promotion, a tip to the Humble Bundle is greatly appreciated!

if you don't already have psychonauts - it runs on almost anything :D

oh yay

Seriously, the bundle is worth it just for Psychonauts, and it was originally released 8 years ago on Xbox so having a good computer isn't really necessary.

OCTUPLE FINE

I haven't played any of the other games yet, but Costume Quest is pretty fun/cute/simple.

$35 to get a preorder game, and $70 for a t-shirt?
Yeah, I think I found another game developer that I hate.
This isn't Humblebundle anymore, this is a cash cow in theory.

It's for those people who drop like $100-$1000 on these bundles.
Giving them something a little extra.

I guess you have a point, though it's still a discrimination for those who want to get something cheap, fully.

Plus, it's not like they're being a cash cow, seeing how most of the money doesn't even go to them.

It depends on the user.
