Author Topic: What was the old blockland like?  (Read 4898 times)

everything before v9 sucked imo (eww, no events. glad I wasn't around for that), and for that matter, no prior version is any better than the current one (that applies regardless of what the current version really is)

v1.0 = no events, no physics, no shaders/shadows, more bugs, not as many bricks (still were a good selection of them), no tutorial
I could go on but v0002, AiO-R, BLM, RTB v1.032/v1.045 and TBM/DTB were pretty fun until the communities 'went down'. I am glad the retail version is getting more popular since it's getting better than all of them combined.

TOO LOUD
did I get the color right?! I can't remember, it's been so long since I've seen that error!

I remember the days of TOO LOUD also.
I believe I was either a v11 or v12 baby.

V11 was important for the modding community I believe.

Wasn't building and painting different?
Also, what is the difference between RTB, TBM, and v0.00000002?

v0002*

RTB and TBM are both mods of v0002 which add in a bunch of new things to play with, i don't know much about TBM, but RTB added in things like a trust system for who can and can't interact with your bricks, an Editor Wand that could select a single brick and modify it's scale, rotation and position, a wrench that could do various things, one of the wrench's modes could make bricks move or rotate when activated by the player, this would be used to make things like doors or elevators, and much more stuff that i haven't listed

It also adds in a TON of new bricks, paint colors and player customization options
