Author Topic: BL Saver Reminder  (Read 1219 times)

I have lost about a dozen freaking builds or portions of builds because I was stoopid enough to not save all the time. So I thought of this.

All it does is, instead of automatically saving, it reminds you to save after either a certain amount of time or after a certain amount of bricks were planted. It only depends on what RTB pref you set it to. There can also be a RTB pref that only reminds people of certain admin levels and the people in the level(s) above:
0 (non-admin), 1 (admin), 2 (super admin), and 3 (host).

The only thing that's missing now is the .zip file and a DL button. Remember it's meant to be server-side.

this is already a thing

and a "save bricks?" before closing the server reminder.

Sounds good. If possible, it'd be good.

what about an autosave?

what about an autosave?
That old autosave mod works, but it CORRUPTS my saves once I exit the game. Like what the hell?

I could whip up a quick and simple mod when I get back home tomorrow morning.

Here you go
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19324878/Server_SaveReminder.zip

Has 4 RTB prefs
Toggle ~ Allows you to toggle it on and off (on by default)
Time (minutes) ~ How often the reminder is displayed (default is 10 minutes)
Message ~ The message displayed in the reminder (default is "Remember to save regularly!")
Player Status ~ Who can see the reminder (default is everyone)

Thank u mah homee! You deserve FOR HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR 12 SECONDS!! And a cookie. :cookie:

EDIT: You tested it right? And where is the reminder displayed?
EDITED EDIT: It's working but the prefs aren't...?
