Author Topic: I am painfully OCD  (Read 4013 times)

I'm so OCD it makes me want to burst out in tears sometimes. I share a small room with an older sibling who is incredibly messy and care-free. Candy wrappers and clothe litter his section of the floor, while cups and wrappers inhabit his desk. His bed is right next to him and is covered with computer gadgets and socks. He shoves them off at night and replaces them in the morning.

Under his bed is a different story. It is filled to the brim with old legos and toys and folded up desks. It's incredibly filthy.

Meanwhile my small area is as if it's straight out of heaven. It's 100% clean, but that's not relevant.

It literally hurts me, that's how OCD I am. I'm close to bursting out of tears all the time because of this. None of my family members listen to me, and we aren't moving anytime soon.

Suggestions?

you should clean the room.

"I am AIDS"
"I am ADHD"
"I am flu"
do you catch my drift

also wanting things to be clean doesn't mean you have OCD

i'm obsessively compulsively disorderly
..kinda makes sense?

A lot of people would be driven insane living in that condition, OCD or not.

You don't have OCD

stop saying you do

Just wait until he goes out, then organize his half of the room

I just have an OCD for things to be even. If that is even a OCD

My town hall on my server wasn't always so even, I got mad at it so I tore down part of it and had to fix it. Unless its even I have an issue.

it counts as ocd if you have ocd

Must be clean, must be clean, must be clean, every door knob is dirty

Tell your parents you want to see a therapist about it, and see if you can get your therapist to explain to your parents how much messy stuff bothers you.
