Well, you will need special prints if you want nice looking houses, also, you might be thinking of a separate, Single static shape building with multiple textures

Even if there were wondrous single brick houses, people will still build spam next to you. It's just what happens, and you will have to find a way to cope with it.

Join servers with admins who regularly remove spam and stuffty builds.
