Author Topic: Do you believe in aliens?  (Read 9054 times)

for all we know the bipedal model is the peak of evolution and is what works best for intelligent life
I sure hope not
Googling this yields:
  • A Time article where several scientists say that a particular group advocating this is stupid
  • Some information on "bacteria fossils" on meteors, which really doesn't mean anything
bacteria fossils, that's right
pls tell me how that doesn't mean anything? unless you believe dinosaur fossils don't mean anything...

I sure hope not

why? it's served the human race for thousands of years

exactly
it is boring

why? it's served the human race for thousands of years

but humans dont evolve anymore. we dont let it happen. once we became aware of ourselves, its like we tried to keep everyone alive and healthy, regardless of all the stuff we should be trying to breed out of the pool.

Because the find was controversial. Not everyone agrees. The bacteria fossils were essentially unusual crystals.

take a high school biology class and come back

Have to realize that not everything breathes oxygen.

Plus there are trillions of solar systems scattered all over. Go visit them all and say what you found before making stupid claims.

Sheer probability dictates we're not the only ones out here. The question is whether or not the intelligent aliens are within a reasonable distance of us. Knowing they exist is good, but finding out they're on the other side of the Milky Way or across the empty, impassable, useless void between galaxies isn't.

If we exhist, there must be other life somewhere out there. Everything is replicable, irregardless of complexity.

I belive in them, but not intelegent aliens. Just like bacteria and stuff
