Doesn't beachbum already have a server he pays for?

Try contacting Ephialtes here instead, then he will respond to you.
That defeats the purpose of specifically creating an area for clients.

Sadly, that is kind of true.

Pretty sure it's pay pal but I could be wrong

I've sent a total of three tickets to RTB hosting that were completely related to the server itself, not add-ons or anything I did. None of them have ever been responded to (It's been half a year for two of them). I've been able to contact Kalphiter directly for issues relating to my server on Kaphost, and he has always responded and fixed the issue.
I've reviewed your tickets and can do nothing but apologize for this, I think one of them was discussed in game though. As part of some major updates we're doing to the service we're overhauling the backend of the support system to ensure this won't happen in the future - more about that soon.

While I like the interface for RTB, I find that a lot of it really doesn't even work. I also can get a better deal from Kaphost (buying in 6 month packages).
Again, all this will be addressed in the upcoming update. We've found a few bugs and are working on them.

Ignoring the fact that small issues happen is extremely dishonest and misleading.
Service issues are never ignored when they are communicated to us via the official methods. Generous compensation in terms of contract extension is always given in the case of people missing out on time due to "small issues".

PayPal only at the moment, sorry.

I could get by without one; though I'd like my players to have a good experience.

RTB or NFOServers if you want full control over a system.

Cbmhost, I pretty much never had any problems with them. My server never lags and if I send a ticket in they will respond ASAP. I recommend them.

I used to run a free hosting service with Pacnet2010/20##. Lub wanted to create a new one (the RTB hosting service. Somebody (I can't tell you who because this topic is not in drama) who was affiliated with Lub used unfair tactics to shut us down.

So use Kaphost, and not RTB. CBM is full, with 20 servers. They use a crappy old Athlon x4 @ 2.1 GHz.
I don't know how that weak CPU can support 20 servers.

Lol, for anyone curious about Pacnet's "hosting service" please have a read at your leisure here: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=159109.0

Needless to say from an objective point of view, RTB is the best service if you want to pay money. There's really no competition.

rtb is like the big superior white guy who lives in the mansion while kalphiter is the black slave picking cotton and getting whipped

Not only is this tribal, but it's also completely untrue.
Kalphiter's service has been around for a much longer time.

Crappy? Weak?? I've never exceeded 60% CPU usage, even with 20 servers running and players on at least half of them! Currently holding at 30% average CPU usage and 50% memory with 17 servers. Don't go bashing services just because you couldn't host a successful one yourself. There is nothing wrong with that CPU. Yes, compared to modern CPU's it's not that good, I just built a computer that uses a i5 3570K and it can run circles around AMD. But, it does what I need it to do very well, as you have seen if you've ever joined any of the servers I host.

Haha it's probably not worth your time engaging him in a discussion, I think he's just bitter over the fact that the two hosting services he's been involved with have crashed and burned - like you said.

The fact your service got closed down because you were breaking your ISP's terms of service is no ones fault but your own.
