Author Topic: Google knows everything  (Read 2840 times)

Google knows way more than you think.
Read this

>millions upon millions of people using google at any given moment
"OMG THEY KNOW WHAT I'M LOOKING AT!!!"
Like they would look into and care about your specific searches, apart from automatic stuff for ads.

I mean google may possibly have the ability to track you if they wanted, but then again every person you have ever met has got the ability to  kill you but they don't because they have no reason to.

Read the whole thing, the searches are only a small part of the information they collect

Google tracks everything so they can put you in filter bubbles.
Basically putting you on specific ads based on interests, location etc.; giving you more and more relevant results (If you have 2 people that used Google as search engine for awhile, even from the same location, to search the same thing, they will have different results), relevant ads..
Yeah, though it is annoying, it doesn't particulary harm anyone in any condition. Though slamming ads in your face is bad enough and I wish I didn't have filter bubbles.

And that's where DuckDuckGo goes to. But I still like Google more because of it being more sleek than DDG.

Though, Google can give the info to the police if anything goes wrong. And so can your doctor, your.. oh wait, your everything. Let's sue the world.

But that isn't relevant to anything I said?
What I'm saying is even if they could get access to information about you they don't, wont and have no reason to do anything with it, let alone anything that is somehow bad for you.

^
Whether they gain that information through your searches or your google+ updates or whatever is irrelevant.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows google watches you by now. If not, you're permanently buried under a boulder

I do like seeing the occasional 'where to find cheap computer parts online' ads ;D

That's a funny way to spell "find single Asian women near you!"

They forgot about google fiber, a way google will now be able to track every bit of information that comes out of your computer. As long as you sign up for their service that is...
