Any thoughts or opinions about it? Imo, I think it's completely wacky and who wants the smell of pizza lingering in their house?

Sounds horrible.
Who wants the odour of pizza all the time in their room?
Or for your DVD player to stink of Pizza. I am certain that a smell like that will linger for ages, if not forever on a DVD player.
Any time it starts to heat, even when a non-pizza DVD is in will cause the smell to start again.

That's got to be some form of property damage.

Is it not just as effective to stick a Domino's leaflet in the inside of the DVD case? Atleast then you don't piss off the viewer.

And another thing

If I wanted the smell of pizza wafting through the house, I'd bake a pizza. And pop in a DVD while it's baking, for that matter. Into the DVD player, I mean. Not the oven.

Would it not be a better advertisement if the advert anyway?

So, I watch a film and then get the idea of going to get a pizza?
Why would I go do that?
I've just been out to get a film and am comfortable at home. If anything, I've already brought food for the film.
It's too late now to convince me to go and get a pizza. Should've done that beforehand.
Not made me sit through 3 hours of film and then waft the invading stale scent of pizza through the house, as if that'll make me want to go and buy from someone else.

Also, it's very rude/unfair on anyone who doesn't like pizza or the smell of it.
