No, these topics are just annoying. Almost everybody in the forums community is sick of these threads. They aren't coming back and you will just have to deal with it. You want maps back? Go make your own game with maps.

Maps are nostalgic, yes.

But take away the maps, and now players must build everything themselves, which now focuses on the main point of the game, which is building. This is much better for the game, and all the builds lately have become better cause the players aren't lazy to use the terrain

Not only that, but the terrain itself looked bad. When you have games like Skyrim and BF3 out there, you gotta realize the terrain looks outdated and clunky.

Nostalgia factor, sure. Making the game more immersive, no.
