I wasn't trying to say PC is all better, some of my favorite games are console-exclusive.
I'm just saying I don't think there's been any good consoles in a while, the last ones being the GameCube and the Xbox Original.

Not really, Xbox has a controller that doesn't need it, Wii NEEDED it to actually be controllable.

Any console that forces motion control is garbage. The Wii was crap for this reason outside of any games that could not be controlled with the optional controller. Now that XBox is following this gimmick I'm confident in my statement that forcing motion control is always a bad idea..

Besides the Wii needs the sensor bar to receive the signals transmitted from the remove. Kind of like how a wireless mouse. That is all it does. There is no reason to have a camera on a console if you are going to use a controller. Camera's only capture light and create images, they do not transmit and receive controller signals.

It's not the government forcing you to have a webcam in your house. If you buy it it's not abridging your "rights".

kinect is only good on pc anyway
i use it for gmod and sfm animation, this way it's basically taking that out and making it xbox only

Well the Nintendo Wii U has fixed this. You can control the menus now with anything you can stick in that machine.
